Michael Realbuto
Michael Realbuto is a litigation associate focused on eminent domain and redevelopment matters. He takes pride in helping clients develop creative strategies that consider and address the impacts caused by a governmental taking. While at the firm, Mr. Realbuto has litigated N.J. eminent domain and redevelopment matters at the trial court and appellate levels. He also assisted the authors in completing the Fourth Edition of the NJICLE New Jersey Condemnation Practice treatise.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stuart A. Minkowitz, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris/Sussex Vicinages.
Michael received his B.A., cum laude, from Franklin & Marshall College in 2017. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2020. During law school, he was a member of the school’s mock trial team and participated in two national trial advocacy competitions. Alongside his role as a student, Michael worked part-time for a successful New Jersey personal injury firm, where he was involved in all aspects of the civil litigation process. He joined McKirdy Riskin in 2021 fully prepared to advocate on behalf of property owners across New Jersey.
